2023 哈佛總召的話

Dear HTLC community, 

Welcome to the 2023 Harvard Taiwan Leadership Conference! Since its founding in 2007, HTLC has brought together hundreds of Taiwanese students, Harvard undergraduates, and leaders from across the globe. The conference helps cultivate the next generation of Taiwanese leaders and, just as importantly, changes the lives of the Harvard undergraduates who teach them. Through a week of lectures, workshops, and homerooms, HTLC provides students and teachers a new perspective through which to understand imminent societal issues, challenges that range from managing global pandemics to fighting climate change.

Despite its hybrid format last summer, HTLC remained a life-changing experience for students and teachers alike. As Harvard teachers, we were inspired by the resilience and dedication of our students; the diversity of lectures and educational workshops; and, above all, the warmth and kindness of the conference community. And now, as this year’s co-directors, we are thrilled to help lead the first entirely in-person HTLC since 2019. 

We are privileged to work alongside the Taiwanese leadership team, and we cannot wait for this year’s conference. We look forward to reading your applications, and we hope to see you at National Taipei University this August!
